Craters of the Moon

On our way back from Ketchum, we stopped by Craters of the Moon. We thought it would be kind of funny if Ansley told her friends that we went on vacation to the moon, but quickly realized she wouldn't believe us b/c she knows you have to take a rocket to the moon and we were clearly not in a rocket.

So glad we hiked this cone. The pamphlet said it was a strenuous half mile hike. We had initially decided to only pick to get out at one accessible spot (which you will see later) that didn't turn out to be that interesting.

(I should've changed the zoom before passing the camera off. Oops).

Reminiscent of the picture at White Sands

I was surprised to see a tree growing up here.

My other shirt refashioned from a turtleneck that I haven't blogged about yet.

  2. I don't think Ansley's friend would fall for that. They're smart enough to know you need a rocket ship for that.
