Shiny Swimsuit

Ansley picked out this fabric and I used her new pineapple swimsuit as a pattern (which I should've had her try on first oops). Katy from No Big Dill and Zaaberry have great tutorials to make your own.

The not-bad-for-a-first-attempt-fully-lined-shiny swimsuit (she wouldn't take it off for a few days after I finished sewing it sometime last month, which made me happy):









And a stripey summery skirt for Ansley. I made another one for Skirting the Issue put together by liZ and Elizabeth of Simple Simon and Company. I promise this isn't a humble brag. If you sew and have an extra twenty or thirty minutes, I'm sure a girl in the foster care system would love a home made skirt. The deadline is this Friday (though you can definitely donate after, it just won't be in the official count I think).
