(rides and virtual tour continued)
We'd never been on the Monster's Inc ride. I loved it! I was especially impressed that Harry Hausens smelled like sushi! It was a lot like a ride through the movie. The only thing I didn't like was Boo wasn't as cute on the ride as she is in the movie. The second time we went through, a boy in line told Ansley that she looked like Boo. It was pretty cute.
(couldn't get far enough away to get a picture of the contact lens)
Roz told us to watch out for our little monster. The second time we rode she said to the lady in the car with us that she liked her glasses.
Cars Racers. Sadly, Ansley was too short to ride. We were able to use the stroller switch pass though, which was better than each of us standing in line by ourselves for two and a half hours- the standby time. The first day I tried to get fast passes for all of us but was only able to get one for myself since Tyrone and Ansley weren't in the park yet. (They were sleeping in the hotel). I got there at opening and waited in line for about 40 minutes for a fast pass. The fast passes were gone within an hour. It was kind of crazy. Anyway, the ride was really slow for the first part and I was puzzled why they had a height restriction until the race. . . .
Ornament Valley
Loved the cars' eyes.
Here I am with some random people.
We were a little late to our magic morning b/c my alarm didn't go off for the third day in a row. I read online that only part of the park was open but didn't remember which parts. Only Tomorrow Land and Fantasy Land were open, but it was okay. We went on Dumbo (I sat out), the merry go round, Snow White, Pinocchio, and Snow White again within about 15 minutes. It was pretty awesome and just about as uncrowded as after the last Fantasmic show.
He was having fun.
Ansley picked her own answers and ended up being:
Turtle talk with Crush was pretty cool duuuuuuude.
He got a new toy:
Cars Racers again. These pictures are in chronological order, sorry for any confusion.
Did you know you can actually use your fast pass any time after the times listed? There was a man in line who let me go in front of him b/c he still had five minutes to wait for his time slot to begin
The cars you ride in. Wish I had one in real life!
Me with a family of five. The mom was video taping the ride.
Off the giant air hockey table.
Monsters Inc again.
I think I may've only been on this ride once in the many times I've been to Disneyland.
Teacups from the Alice line. Didn't ride these b/c they make me sick.
From the Snow White ride five minute line.
Astroblasters. Our last ride last year and our last ride this year.
