Ansley's Pink Fig Girly Skirt

Ansley's loving her new skirt too. :)



I used the Pink Fig Girly Skirt pattern and fun rainbow chevron and polka dot (cotton woven) fabric by Riley Blake Designs. I love the fun colors and the nice hem band.

Silly face inspired by the menu at Denny's.



I made a size five (b/c I made it last August or September but only recently got it back) knowing she would grow into it but it's a still a bit big. I will probably add a row of stitching in the middle of the elastic (like Ansley's maxi skirt) to keep it from twisting.



We both thought this picture was pretty funny, albeit potentially embarrassing in the years to come. . . .

Butterfly Kisses' Emma Skirt

I love this skirt! I used the Butterfly Kisses' Emma Skirt pattern and this gorgeous fabric from the Bohemian Festival line by Lila Tueller for Riley Blake. Each tier is topstitched in coordinating thread.

Music City

Last week I had a training in Nashville. What a cool city and a great meeting! I wish we'd had more time there (and that getting there wasn't so awful- serious turbulence, multiple flights, delayed flights, lost car seat, etc).



Quick meet up with Tyrone's brother and cousin before heading back to the airport. (We also saw one of my favorite YW leaders from San Diego and her daughter :) ).

I finally sewed up my lisette market shirt. It's been cut out since January. I added a few inches in the waist and maybe one of these times will figure out how to lower the neckline. (first one blogged here.)
