Inspiration suit (don't worry- lots more vacation pictures to come, lucky you. This one is my favorite though):

The not-bad-for-a-first-attempt-fully-lined-shiny swimsuit (she wouldn't take it off for a few days after I finished sewing it sometime last month, which made me happy):

And a stripey summery skirt for Ansley. I made another one for Skirting the Issue put together by liZ and Elizabeth of Simple Simon and Company. I promise this isn't a humble brag. If you sew and have an extra twenty or thirty minutes, I'm sure a girl in the foster care system would love a home made skirt. The deadline is this Friday (though you can definitely donate after, it just won't be in the official count I think).

I can't believe you made that swimsuit! It's gorgeous. I can understand why your daughter didn't want to take it off!
ReplyDeleteWow! Seriously impressive!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, I would NEVER have thought about sewing a swimsuit! Way to go!
